Etsy shipping labels — the fastest 4×6 workflow
June 20, 2026 · 4 min read
Etsy hands you an 8.5×11 sheet with the label taking up the top half. Here is the 30-second workflow to turn it into thermal-friendly 4×6.
What Etsy gives you
Etsy Shipping (via Shippo behind the scenes) exports a single-page PDF with the actual 4×6 label in the top-left of an 8.5×11 sheet. The bottom half is a receipt/notes area.
The workflow
- Open Etsy → Orders & Delivery.
- Select the orders and click Print shipping labels.
- Save the PDF Etsy generates.
- Drop it into PDF Crop Buddy's Etsy cropper.
- Preset is already set to "Etsy top-left 4×6". Preview → export → print.
Batch printing
If you have 10+ orders per day, merge all downloaded PDFs first (merge tool), then crop the merged file. You'll go from 10 downloads to one print job in about 90 seconds.
What printer works best
Any 4×6 thermal — Rollo, Zebra ZP450, MUNBYN ITPP941, iDPRT SP410. Etsy's barcode is vector so all thermal printers scan clean at 203 DPI.
International orders
For international Etsy labels, keep the CN22 customs form on plain paper — don't try to squeeze it onto 4×6. Print the shipping label at 4×6 and the customs form at Letter/A4.
